Immerse yourself in the world of Langhe and Roero wines with our fascinating Vespa tour. This experience takes you to discover unique landscapes and ancient villages, linked by one common denominator: the Nebbiolo grape. Indeed, it is from the vinification of this type of grape that the great wines of Piedmont, Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero, are made. You will then have the opportunity to discover the different “nuances” that gift Nebbiolo that changes depending on the characteristics of the “terroir.” Each sip of wine will be a new sensory experience, enriched by knowledge of the area and its wine-making traditions.
What you will discover:
  • You will explore the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo at Grinzane Cavour Castle, where you can immerse yourself in the history and production of the famous Barolo wine.
  • You will drive through the vineyards to Barbaresco, where you will visit the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco located in a charming deconsecrated church, discovering the characteristics of the wine always made from the Nebbiolo grape.
  • Treat yourself to a stop in Canale, the heart of Roero, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the history and nuances of Roero wine, still made from the Nebbiolo grape but with a unique character.

Departure from Pollenzo

Set off on your Vespa from Pollenzo, known for its connection to food and wine and culture.

Stage 1: Grinzane Cavour

Visit Grinzane Cavour, the charming village famous for its imposing castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle houses the Langhe Museum, dedicated to the history and culture of the region. In addition to its historical heritage, Grinzane Cavour is renowned for its delicious wines, especially Barolo, which attracts wine lovers every day.

Stage 2: Treiso

Famous for its vineyards that produce some of the best wines in the area, particularly Barbaresco, Treiso is a village enriched by picturesque hilly landscapes and a rich food and wine tradition, making it a popular destination for lovers of good food and wine. With its narrow cobblestone streets and breathtaking views of the Langhe, Treiso enchants visitors with its rustic and authentic charm.

Stage 3: Barbaresco

Barbaresco is a charming village located in the heart of Piedmont, known for being the center of production of the renowned wine of the same name. With its ancient cellars and breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards, the village exudes anatmosphere of authentic winemaking tradition. In addition to its importance in the wine world, Barbaresco also offers a rich history and architectural beauty that captivates visitors.

Stage 4: Channel

Famous for its characteristic arcades that adorn the historic center, Canale retains a unique medieval charm. Surrounded by hilly landscapes and vineyards, it is a picturesque destination for lovers of Piedmontese history and fine cuisine.
In Canale you will learn about the history of Roero wine. It is red like Barolo, but with other nuances.
