The indicated fee includes the rental of the Vespa with full-full policy, or the rental of an Electric Vespa with electric charging kit, hygienic under-helmet, helmet, travel book with useful directions to follow the chosen itinerary, top box to store any backpacks/bags, and cell phone holder to follow the itinerary comfortably. If, on the other hand, the selected product is a package tour, the price indicates all the services included in the package, such as lunches or tastings or overnight stays, as well as Vespa rental.
Forecasts now represent a “crazy” variable. For this reason, although tour directions are always sent in advance, tour confirmation is only made 2-3 days in advance precisely because the weather forecast can also change dramatically. In case the bad weather is confirmed, then a second date is identified on which to do it or, in case the date cannot be identified a in the short term, a voucher valid for one year is issued. Only in some specific cases is a refund of the full amount paid made (in this regard, see the “Terms and Conditions of Use” section).
The gift card you received contains a gift code consisting of digits and numbers that you can use to “redeem” your gift. Also specified along with the gift card are the tours that you can go and redeem with that gift code so that you can choose what experience to have. We ask you to choose the tour at least 20-25 days in advance so that we can arrange everything in time.
Only the driver or two people, i.e., the driver and passenger, can ride on each Vespa. Three people can ride on the Ape Calessino, namely the driver and two other people. In the case of adding a Tour Guide to drive the vehicle, one less person must be considered (Vespa: Tour Guide + passenger. Ape Calessino: Tour Guide + 2 passengers).
There is no minimum number of participants. The route can also be traveled individually, in pairs or with a group of friends. These are not organized tours, but rather “self-guided” so tours that can be taken independently.
The license you must have in order to drive a Vespa or Ape Calessino is a B license.
Vespa delivery time may vary depending on the destination, but it is always between 9 and 10 a.m. Drop-off should be approximately between 6 and 7 pm. Specific times can be arranged only in case of special needs.
It depends on which tour you purchased. Specifically: in the Langhe we start from Pollenzo, near Bra; on Lake Como we start from Varenna; for tours in Chianti we start from Florence; in Oltrepò Pavese we start from Canneto Pavese; in Turin we start from Torino Esposizioni in Corso Massimo D’Azeglio
Our fleet consists of Vespa Electric and Vespa 125 cc. These are also joined by the 200 cc Ape Calessino. The Vespa is easy to ride if you already have some experience with a scooter. Before the Vespa is delivered, we always have the vehicle tested just to get familiar with it. In case the person to whom we hand over the Vespa is unable to ride it, the tour is cancelled.
The insurance is the classic RC (Liability) which, as usual, covers the eventual passenger. In addition, the coverage provides for damage to the vehicle with a maximum deductible of 500 euros (so if significant damage is caused to the Vespa at most you pay 500 euros). All specific details are on the contract that will be signed when the vehicles are delivered.
Payments can be made via Paypal, which also counts as a credit card, or via bank transfer.
Yes, at the time of delivery of the vehicle you have reserved you will be asked for a credit card as collateral. Please note: not the debit card, but a credit card with the numbers in view, in the name and with an expiration date. If you do not have a credit card with these characteristics, a security deposit of 300 euros in cash will be required, which will then be returned at the end of the tour.
By setting driving in “Eco” mode (45 km/h), the Vespa Electric has a range of about 100 km. By setting the driving in “Power” mode (70 km/h), the Electric Vespa has a range of about 70 km.
Our Tours are designed and tested to stay largely within the range limits of the electric vehicle. Along the route also it is possible to recharge the Electric Vespa at charging points that will be indicated in the Travel Book handed out before starting the tour. Instead, there where the tour includes other services (tasting, lunch or overnight stay) recharging can be done directly with our partners.
All “additional” services besides the tour can be booked on our website. In fact we have some tours that provide these services included (the classic tour package), to other tours instead lunch, tasting, perotation can be added at the time of booking. So too is the tour guide service should it be required.
All prices listed on the website do NOT include tourist tax. In fact, the fee is paid directly to the hotel upon arrival.
It depends on the tour selected. Some tours already include some included services and activities, while others include delivery of the Vespa, helmets, itinerary to follow on the navigator, and trip book. In each tour sheet, “What is included,” “What is not included” is specified in two separate boxes. Please read carefully the information that is included in the boxes.
When purchasing the Tour you have the option of adding other services and activities. We have divided these services into two types: Classic and Premium. The “Classic” type includes basic menu, location and tasting, so for example overnight stay in a 3-star hotel, lunch or dinner in a farmhouse or trattoria, or a tasting with 3-4 wines by the glass. While by “Premium” service we mean something more refined and high quality, so tasting with particular vintages of wines, lunch or dinner in a restaurant even a starred one, or overnight stay in a relais.
Yes it is possible and the delivery has an extra cost determined by the distance to be covered from our delivery point to the hotel. The service must be agreed upon at the time of booking. We are here to help. In fact, when booking, you can specify that you do not want to ride the Vespa. We will provide this service for you. In fact, we have local tour guides who can accompany you throughout the day. The cost for this service, which can be selected when completing the order, is 300 per day.
The tour guide (or tour leader) is never included in the price quoted in our tours. It represents an additional service that, if desired, must be selected when booking the tour.
The Electric Vespa is always delivered at full charge, which is 100%. This means that the vehicle has a range of about 50 miles. All Electric Vespa tours are designed to allow you to take the tour and return the Vespa, thus respecting the autonomy of the vehicle. As for the thermal Vespa (and the Ape Calessino), however, it is delivered with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned with a full tank of gasoline.
The stages we have included are indicative. These are our tips for discovering the area’s secrets and major points of interest. But of course there is no constraint and the itinerary can be varied according to one’s needs.
The required documents are a B driver’s license, the one that is also valid for the car. A driver’s license must be presented compulsorily for those who wish to ride the Vespa, along with a valid ID (ID card or passport).

No. The 125 cc Vespa can be driven only upon reaching 18 years of age and with the attainment of a type B license (the one for driving a car).
