Since 1983 Dr. Cesare Luccioli, a distinguished cosmetic surgeon, purchased Villa Casagrande from Count Averardo Serristori. Initially, after a deep and respectful restoration, he used part of the structure as a Center for Aesthetic Medicine. Thanks to his experience in the United States with 15 years of training in Plastic Surgery, he created one of the first Centers dedicated exclusively to Aesthetic Surgery in Italy equipped with a medical office and licensed operating room.
Later, he began to allocate part of the Villa for the hospitalization of his patients and slowly gave it an increasingly tourist-accommodation purpose.
In the mid-1990s, he began to involve his own children in the management of the facility’s various activities.
Villa Casagrande after the end of the Serristori dynasty returned to be run by a new and important family. After an initial solo management, Dr. Cesare Luccioli involved his daughter Claudia Maria in the management of Hotel Villa Casagrande, also implementing with her a profound restoration work that brought the Villa to its current conformation. A new parking lot, a renovated Hall with the creation of new rooms to meet the ever-increasing demand. But not only that, over the years a small wellness center with a heated pool and gymnasium has been built. Villa Casagrande becomes a real resort equipped with every comfort but also rich in history and art.
