At “Le Arcate” Farmhouse we have everything to make your vacation unforgettable. First, the landscape with the rolling hills of the Langhe and a view that reaches as far as the Alps. Then our pampering: the rooms, the swimming pool with relaxation area, and the local cuisine. Dishes prepared only with excellent raw materials and accompanied by the best wines of the area.
At the farmhouse when lunch is ready or dinner is about to be served, you can tell quickly. From the kitchen, indeed, come unmistakable scents. The sauce for the tajarin is ready, the pot roast is finishing its cooking, the albese as well as the vitello tonnato are arranged on the vassioi ready to be served at the table. Coordinating everyone in the kitchen is her, Silvana, owner of the Agriturismo. She is our cook who cares for and prepares traditional dishes with love and passion. All courses are made in house. The menu changes according to seasonality and available raw materials. So for lunch or dinner you will find different dishes, always of traditional Piedmontese cuisine: raw meat all’albese, battuta di fassona, vitello tonnato, insalta russa, tomini con cugnà, baked peppers with bagna cauda or first courses such as agnolotti del plin, tajarin ai 40 tuorli and main courses such as roast veal, braised in Nebbiolo, rabbit al civet and roast guinea fowl with their seasonal vegetables.
