Villages, vineyards and hills on the border between Piedmont, Lombardy and Emilia: this is Oltrepò Pavese, a land to be discovered and enjoyed. So get on an Electric Vespa and follow the route to learn about some of the most iconic places in this area. Experience your adventure driving a “celebrity” like the Vespa, here in its green and sustainable version: zero emissions, zero noise and lots of fun.
Our tour starts in Santa Maria della Versa from the“Manuelina” farm towards Casale where we stop to admire the estate of Count Denariconits landscapes and buildings. Continue to Donelasco, passing through hamlet Torrone, then on the road to Pizzofreddo and then to Golferenzo, a small village that has entered the list of the “100 most beautiful villages in Italy .” Strolling through its characteristic narrow streets, you can admire the view of the entire Versa Valley and its small villages.
We ride up on a Vespa to Volpara, where the famous Moscato wine is produced, then to Ruini di Pometo and then Lake Molato . We then climb to Zavatarello, another village that has received recognition as “Borgo tra i più belli d’Italia.” The Castello del Verme is located here.
The Vespa’s nose turns to reach Fortunago, another characteristic village from which it is possible to admire the entire Alpine arc and Monte Rosa . In Fortunago moment of relaxation to have lunch at the restaurant “La Pineta” where it will also be possible to recharge the Electric Vespa.
After the stop, back in the saddle to and Borgo Priolo, passing through the Travaglino estate, then on to Calvignano and stop at the Giant Bench for photos and selfies!
The last part of the tour takes us to Montalto Pavese for a stop at the Costa del Vento: a vantage point from which a good part of the Oltrepò can be seen in addition to the Po Valley, Pavia, Milan, and above all Monte Rosa. It then descends to Lirio and Broni .
From Broni we go to Stradella where the Accordion Museum is located, then set off again in the direction of Santa Maria della Versa, returning to the hamlet of Ruinello where the Vespa will be returned.
